TOLFA provides rescue and care services to all sick and injured street animals (mostly dogs, cows, cats and donkeys), and rural animal health clinics to the working animals (mainly goats and buffalo) of local villagers.
Visitors are welcome to come and see the hospital's work and meet the animals. Please note that this is a veterinary hospital working in harsh conditions, some areas may not be suitable for all visitors.
There are many resident shelter animals that visitors can interact with.

Tree Of Life For Animals (TOLFA):
TOLFA’s mission is to develop and provide vital healthcare and support for sick, injured and neglected animals, to save lives and protect communities through the provision of preventative measures such as rabies vaccination and to nurture empowerment and hope in those communities by creating inclusive opportunities for education, training and employment.
Since TOLFA began in 2005, 17,000 dogs in the surrounding area have been sterilised and vaccinated against rabies (India has the highest human death rate from rabies anywhere in the world). And every year we rescue 3,000 sick and injured animals from the streets.
In the case of ownerless animals it’s our aim, wherever possible, to return recovered animals back to the environment, from which they were rescued. Otherwise they have a permanent home at our hospital. Without the treatment and care that TOLFA offers to any animal in need, most would simply die - often in appalling circumstances and in great pain.
